Las Brasas is a hidden gem in Woodland, CA, offering an authentic Mexican dining experience that keeps customers coming back for more. Nestled on Main Street, this cozy restaurant boasts a limited but carefully curated menu that highlights the rich flavors of Mexican cuisine. The reviews speak volumes: patrons rave about the chicken tacos—a favorite likened to those from famous eateries like Chando's in Sacramento. Diners commend the vibrant salsa bar, featuring a delightful assortment of flavors, including a heavenly reddish-orange sauce that many have dubbed their "new crack." The carnitas tacos and shrimp tacos also earn accolades for their freshness and taste, exemplifying the culinary skill behind each dish. With options like Super Quesadillas, tacos with your choice of steak or smoky pork, and tempting tortas, Las Brasas offers a range of choices that cater to different cravings. Customers appreciate the attentive service and the fact that everything is served hot and fresh. Many return weekly, drawn by both the quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere. Las Brasas stands out not only for its dishes but also for creating a community around good eating. Whether you’re in for a quick bite or planning a relaxed meal, this restaurant promises satisfaction with every visit.

Fantastic! The chicken tacos were the best I've had. On par w/ Chando's in Sac. Woodland finally has a place I can't wait to get back to. The place is smallish but right on Main st. The menu is somewhat limited but that's because what they have is great. The carnita tacos good too. They charge a buck for chips but I can easily look past that. The salsa is also very good. But what ever they make and put in those salsa squeeze bottles is my new CRACK! There is green, witch is good, but reddish/orange sauce is heavenly. I went before the lunch crowd and the chicken was moist and smoky. The best. Can recommend it enough.

Delicous mexican food amd salsa bar located in historic downtown woodland. Everything I've ordered has been served hot and fresh. The salsa options available are delicous. There's never a long wait to order or get your food. There's also plenty of shopping around here to do after you eat. We usually come here at least once a week

Wonderful and affordable food. I particularly like the vampiros (a small tostada), but the tacos are very good also. You get to choose which kind of meat. The pastor (pork) was fine (I had that on a prior visit). The smoked pork was a bit more flavorful. But the best, of what I have tried so far, is the carnitas. In the picture, a taco and a vampiro

We were driving from San Diego up to Portland and Woodland was a stop on our road trip. The person at the front desk of our hotel recommended Las Brasas for dinner. The downtown area is really cute and Las Brasas didn’t disappoint. It is a simple looking restaurant, but the food was delicious. The tacos were fresh with a generous amount of meat, etc. There was also a condiment bar with lots of fresh limes, cut up cucumbers and more. I was very impressed and it really hit the spot. There were also old pictures of Woodland from the past. I would definitely go there again if I was driving through. Wish we had a Las Brasas in Portland!

The owners were incredibly nice and welcoming! I had not been to the restaurant before and Marcos provided a few different recommendations. He even let me try the Quesa Birria burrito which was to die for! I’ll be visiting next week with some friends and I live almost an hour away. If that doesn’t speak volumes I don’t know what does!!! A must try!!!

This was an amazing place to eat lunch with my son. The food is freshly cooked to order and the price is well worth the food. Taste really great. Highly recommend if you are ever near by.
